Leopard, Finally

Finally i got my iBook G4 installed with Leopard. It was a doubt at first, considering my iBook only has a standard 512MB memory, the minimum requirement for Leopard installation. But then I thought that I can always roll back to Tiger if something goes wrong with the new Leopard, nothing to lose though.
The installation itself wasn’t run as I expected, the first time is a total failure. After more than half hour waiting, the installation never finished, at the last minute the progress bar shows no progress at all, and finally leaving my iBook stuck. FYI, I use a firewire disk to install the Leopard.
The second attempt I tried to customize the installation, I removed printer drivers and several languages, and voila, the installation completed without any problems.
The next 2 hours spent on installing softwares and adjusting few settings to meet my needs. Plus testing my iBook performance by using several of my daily applications. The result is not too bad, though its shows some lags but overall Leopard runs good on my iBook. But if you really use your mac for your daily work, I would recommend you to add more RAM first before upgrading to Leopard.
